Kazimir Malevich said “I conquered the lining of the coloured sky and tore it off”. Yolanda Strip wishes he’d put it back. On hearing the demise of her estranged sister, Veronica Feeling, life turned greyscale.

Lost in the bottom of a bottle at the bottom of a continent. The place of broken dreams and lost promises is also the site of great decisions. Time to crawl back into action.

From January to October 2018, with no experience or expectation, Yolanda Strip flew terrified around the African continent in her 1963 Cessna 172, returning to Cape Town an aviatrix.
